

This repaint represents Canberra B.2, WD950 of the Swifter Flight, Royal Air Force, based at El Adem, Libya, 1959. This aircraft wore a special scheme devised for high speed, low-altitude trials over the Libyan desert. It was one of several B.2s converted by Marshalls of Cambridge with strengthened main spars to withstand high-stress flying. The data gathered from these trials was used in the development of the BAC TSR.2. Note this repaint is for the early production model B.2.
